Squash Blossom Studios and  East Lake Pet Orphanage; working together to save pets
The Squash Blossom Studios story

Squash Blossom Studios in Dallas, Texas was established by Dr. Karen Fling in 2011 as a rental venue for still photography, filming, recording, events, meetings, or special events. What makes Squash Blossoms unique is it's mission. Rental revenue goes to making a difference in the lives of homeless animals through Dr. Fling's no-kill shelter, the East Lake Pet Orphanage (ELPO). Some animals arrive needing rehabilitation or medical care before adoption. A single animal can incur $200-$400 in costs for food, medicine, and medical care. Hundreds of deserving pets are rehomed each year by ELPO!

The organization, made up of veterinarians, animal advocates, and volunteers cares for dogs and cats (as well as pigs, hedgehogs, and birds on occasion) giving them lots of love and attention. But loving forever homes are what these pets need most and that's ELPO's goal! If you're interested in adopting a pet we hope you'll consider our orphans. You can see and read about them here. If you're not ready to book your project but would like to make a donation to help ELPO continue its rescue mission, please click the Paypal link below. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated!
